BT38 Inventory Privacy Policy

BT38 Inventory is a multi-channel marketplace management system for supported ecommerce marketplaces including Amazon and eBay. This policy explains how information is handled when sellers use BT38 Inventory.

1. Information we process

We process information required to provide the service, which may include seller account identifiers and authorisation tokens, marketplace listings, inventory and warehouse data, order and fulfilment information, shipping and tracking information, product identifiers, and account usage information. Where a seller authorises financial reporting functionality and the relevant marketplace API permissions are approved, this may also include financial transactions, sales amounts, marketplace fees, refunds, reimbursements and settlement records.

2. How information is used

Information is used to provide the BT38 Inventory features requested by the seller, including marketplace connections, inventory and order management, fulfilment workflows, cross-channel stock control, shipping and dispatch operations, account support and service security. Where enabled and authorised, financial information may be used to help sellers review and reconcile marketplace sales, fees, refunds, reimbursements and settlements.

3. Marketplace connections

BT38 Inventory connects to supported marketplace services, including Amazon and eBay, only through authorised integrations. Marketplace information is used to provide the connected functionality described on the BT38 Inventory website and within the application.

4. Security and access

We use access controls and secure application connections designed to protect seller and marketplace information. Access is limited to authorised users and operational purposes required to provide and support BT38 Inventory.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell seller marketplace data. Information may be processed by service providers where necessary to operate BT38 Inventory, subject to appropriate security and data-protection controls, or where disclosure is required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

Information is retained only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or security requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain required operational records. Requests relating to account data or deletion can be submitted through BT38 Inventory support.
